Jeremy's Birds (and More)

Lesser Goldfinch (male) Also called greenbacks as well. Looks a lot like the American goldfinch, except the back has the darker, greenish hue to it, whereas the Am. Goldfinch is more brilliantly yellow colored. 

American Goldfinch (male) Rather impressive looking bird. We used to get these all the time in Boston and now we see them pretty frequently at our neighbor's house. She has several feeders and atracts all sorts of birds. We finally put up some feeders as well and now we're starting to pull in a few birds as well. 

Here's a photo of the more common red colored male House Fince as well as the female. 

This is a male House Finch, orange colored variation. Not as brightly colored as the more common red colored variety.
